Featuring a self-activated LED lighting system which exceeds SOLAS requirements for 2 candela light output and 2 hours duration, plus providing 15 minutes of dense orange smoke. Ships are required to fit at least two markers.

One is required to be mounted on each bridge wing in its steel bracket. It can be positioned up to 60m above sea level (SOLAS only requires 30m). Automatically deployed on release of the attached lifebuoy. Can also be manually deployed.
