The world's most trusted name in Emergency Readiness and Response
The McMurdo SmartFind G8 AIS is the world’s first EPIRBs to include 406MHz, 121.5MHz, AIS and GNSS (better known as GPS) to accelerate search and rescue. The unique power of these new award winning beacons is in the flexibility and additional tracking capabilities long demanded by maritime customers. Supplied inside an auto-housing and automatically deployed and activated when in contact with water (although they can also be manually activated).
The new AIS SART’s are a cost-effective alternative to the traditional radar SART and supersede our previous models of AIS SART.
Since 2010 the AIS-SART (Search and Rescue Transmitter) has been added to GMDSS regulations as an alternative to a Radar SART and has been wheel-marked since 2012. These units include an inbuilt GPS and transmit an alert message along with the vessel ID and GPS position via the AIS (Automatic Identification System) tracking system - this appears on an AIS.
Class A Transponder is packed with powerful features. It is the first to include an AIS MOB and AIS SART alarm function, with a Steer To Rescue MOB display enabling you to quickly and easily navigate to the location of the MOB. As well as the traditional “radar style” display and AIS target list views, the SmartFind M5 also features an embedded coastline map which accurately plots the AIS equipped vessels on a chart overview display - without the need to connect to an external plotter.
A professional handheld VHF radio that is compliant to IMO, GMDSS and ETSI standards for carriage on SOLAS vessels and survival craft, while also being designed for everyday use onboard. Rugged and waterproof it is built for use in the most demanding of marine environments with a rotary volume control and large buttons that can be used even when wearing gloves.
A professional grade maritime safety and weather information receiver designed for use on IMO mandatory fit vessels. It provides up to the minute safety information on an easy to read 6” colour display that is viewable even in bright sunlight. Fitted with a tri-channel receiver, the SMARTFIND GMDSS NAVTEX simultaneously monitors the English language, national language and long range NAVTEX services.
A Search And Rescue Transponder (SART) is a Radar based emergency transmitter that is designed to be stored in a liferaft or as a carry on device in the event that it is necessary to abandon ship. When it detects an incoming X-band radar pulse from another vessel or aircraft it automatically transmits a response signal, which appears on the vessel’s radar display as a series of 12 dots pointing to your location.
Is primarily engaged in the design and manufacture of marine electronics equipment, specializing in navigational and communications.

NSR Marine’s main products include GMDSS equipment, Shipborne AIS and Marine Navigation equipment.
The NSR NVR3000 class A DSC GMDSS VHF is a ship borne radiotelephone on VHF FM and designed for marine mobile services which provides function of VHF radiotelephone and digital selective calling. It is to be met by provision of GMDSS required as 1988 GMDSS amendments to SOLAS 1974.
NSR NHR1500 fully meets GMDSS carriage requirements for SOLAS ships operating in A3 and A4 sea areas, as well as ITU recommendation on digital selective calling system for use in the Maritime Mobile Service, ITU-R M.493-13.
Marine GPS receiver, which is fully complying with the international regulations, IMO MSC 112 (73), IEC 61108-1, etc. It has easy operation with graphic mode display and function keys. It has totally 4 ports to output GPS data, which can be respectively configured for baudrate and combination of sentences. It has also CCS type approval.
Fully complying with the latest international regulation, IMO MSC 74 (69), ITU M.1371-4, IEC 61993-2, etc.
The purpose of BNWAS (Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System) is to monitor bridge activity and detect operator disability which could lead to marine accidents.
The NSR NVR9000 (S) Voyage data recorder, or (S) VDR, is a data recording system designed for all vessels required to comply with the IMO’s International Convention SOLAS requirements.
ECDIS is designed for international voyage vessels to display vessel information received from on board sensors like GPS, GYRO, RADAR and AIS. NES-3000 ECDIS is a core navigation tool that satisfies the marine standards ECDIS.
NAVTEX (Navigational Telex) is an international automated medium frequency direct-printing service for delivery of navigational and meteorological warnings and forecasts, as well as urgent marine safety information to ships.
Our comprehensive range of marine distress signals and safety systems
The Handflare MK8 conforms to SOLAS 74 as amended. Designed to withstand exceptional environmental exposure and to perform reliably even after immersion in water. Featuring a telescopic handle with improved grip, making it very compact for stowage. Easily extended for safe handling and operation by pull wire ignitor. Produces hot red flame for 60 seconds at 15000 candela.
The Pains Wessex Para Red MK8A Rocket conforms to SOLAS 74 as amended. Designed to withstand exceptional environmental exposure and to perform reliably even after immersion in water, the pull wire ignitor and improved grip provides easy handling. Ejecting a red flare on a parachute at 300m (1000ft), burning for 40 seconds at 30,000 candela.
The Lifesmoke MK9 is a compact, daylight distress signal designed to be easy and safe to handle. It provides effective position marking during rescue operations and can be used to indicate wind direction, producing dense orange smoke for a minimum of 3 minutes.
The Manoverboard MK9 compact Lifebuoy marker produces dense orange smoke for 15 minutes and features two self contained, inversion switched, LED lights which far exceed SOLAS requirements.Ships are required to carry 2 markers, one mounted on each bridge wing with the brackets supplied and attached by line to a 4kg Lifebuoy. The signal is used to mark the position of a man overboard by day or night. It can be automatically deployed by releasing the attached lifebuoy, or manually activated.
A self-contained line-throwing appliance consisting of a weatherproof plastic casing with end cap, twist-grip trigger assembly, rocket and line. To comply with SOLAS requirements, four complete rocket and line assemblies (Item No. 9502000) should be carried on board. The device has a throwing range of between 230m and 250m. A solid propellant is used which guarantees a highly accurate flight path even in strong sidewinds.
